How long does it take to get set up with Cluster?

Your team can be set up in Cluster in less than 10 minutes. It takes just a few minutes to fill out your company information, invite team members and add your roles.

When can I expect to receive my first match?

You’ll begin receiving matches to interview within 1-3 days. Cluster is not a passive sourcing solution like LinkedIn where you need to search for and message people. 

Your matches are vetted, active job seekers that are ready-to-interview.

How do I receive matches?

You’ll be notified via email or text when you receive a new match. You can view candidate profiles, review their role alignment, and schedule your first interview within the Cluster platform.

How many team members can use Cluster?

You’re able to add as many hiring managers and recruiters to Cluster as you would like. We recommend adding the entire hiring team for each role.

How do I add new roles to Cluster?

You can add new jobs directly from the dashboard page of the app after you log in. If you have an ATS integrated with Cluster, you can import key job details to speed up adding new roles.

Does Cluster integrate with my ATS?

We currently integrate with Lever and will build ATS integrations on an ad hoc basis for customers on our Enterprise plan. We will continue to expand our ATS integrations for all customers in the future.

How does Cluster decide if a candidate is a good match for my role?

We use both humans and technology to make the best matches for your role. 

When talent join Cluster, we learn about their preferences, goals and work-styles to identify which opportunities are going to fit with the candidate. Considerations like company size, development stage, and team dynamics are considered.

Our platform algorithmically matches high-quality engineers with relevant full-time roles. 

How do you find talent to join Cluster?

We utilize dozens of channels to bring talent to Cluster’s platform, including SEO, marketing, compensation tools, events and partnerships. We’re constantly testing new ways of attracting top engineers to Cluster’s platform.

How long is the interview process with a Cluster candidate?

You can schedule an interview with talent as soon as you receive a match. Our most efficient employers are able to complete an interview process in 14 days or less. Building a streamlined interview schedule with clear evaluation criteria, internal feedback and decision points can reduce time to hire substantially.

We provide support along the way from interview scheduling to offer negotiation to help shorten your hiring process.

What happens if I am already in process with a candidate from Cluster?

After we make a match, we ask your team to inform us within 5 business days if the candidate was already in an active process with your company.
