From graduating with a statistics degree out of college to her role as the leader of a “little city” with 2.6 million square feet and 4,300 employees, she shares her experience working as one of the few women in her field. The NY Times highlights the fact that as manufacturers are struggling to replace retiring baby boomers, they are realizing that they need to recruit more women. Women currently make up less than 30% of the manufacturing workforce, to their companies.
