Here’s why more young women should consider careers in Canada’s manufacturing sector (Financial Post)

Today, only six percent of employed women in Canada have a job in the manufacturing sector, compared with 13 percent of all men in Canada. Manufacturing jobs for women are not encouraged in schools or school programs. However, even people who didn’t study manufacturing in school might find a rewarding career in the industry. Because manufacturing is just as much about people and soft skills as it is about technology.

25 Women Changing the World of 2018 (PEOPLE Magazine)

Ultimately automation will redefine and expand jobs in advanced manufacturing as well as other industries.
